I just sent an email to the head honcho of a pretty well-known state organization asking for help with my homework.
I’m damn near thirty and either ballsy or stupid.
Not sure which though.

This is the actual text of an actual email I received requesting a change (I think) in one of the setup tables.
“Office needs the hierarchy update with effective date for last update as 12/15/06 they need the product 16 to be tied to office 98 with this date of 12/15/06. Let me know if you can update the date to reflect this change.”Â
Is it any wonder that work makes my head hurt?
So, apparently, we’re now solving our processing problems by just deleting data.
That sounds smart. “If the report runs slow try getting rid of the data it’s combing through – that should speed it up.”
To me that sounds alot like this:
“If you’re getting poor gas mileage, it’s probably because your car’s too heavy. Try getting rid of the seatbelts and airbags. Oh and the headlights. Brakes too. Your car will now be much lighter and will get much better mileage. Problem solved!”
Work makes me dizzy.
