I always find it interesting to hear people's thoughts on faith. Most people deny they have faith because they feel it is weak or misdirected from the cultural norm. But, as I see it, we all put faith in something or another. Some are more upfront with and confident in what they put their faith in.

I find solace in the existence of Truth. By very nature, it exists without my approval or understanding. The only thing at loss is the consequence in my denial of it.

Anyways, I think I liked the ending of LOST. I'm still processing it, though. I may need to watch it again.

sweet retrospective. an enjoyable diversion that didn't crash a mac. i must say, i'm a fan of your writing voice. i was surprised to be familiar with at least 6 of the stops on your housing journey. i wonder how many of us are in the double-digits in places lived... i suspect quite a few.

i'm also reminded of a certain clever, yet reversed bribe to a Comcast guy that occurred at one of those places.

When you work at a state university, there are a mother effing TON of political canvassers/greenpeacers/planned parenthood workers that always want to make you take a survey or sign a petition. I always say, politely, "no thank you" and try (try) to smile. I hate them all with a passion too though, and sometimes you get someone who won't take a polite no and lets you know that you have a moral imperative to stop and become invested in their pet cause. ("Don't you care about the animals and/or reproductive rights and/or US atrocities in afghanistan?") Those people make my blood boil.
