Again, for your reading pleasure or possibly to justify my work-related meltdown; I present to you, gentle reader, the actual text of an actual email that I actually received after it was actually sent in a completely non-self-aware and non-ironic manner.

“Office needs the updates in the system hierarchy for to be effective dated with 01/01/07 they had already had me update with 01/01/07 so then when they needed additional update I had to use next available date of 01/02/07 they need all to be 01/01/07”

Really? Did someone actually write this or did they just ball their fists, bang on the keyboard for ten seconds and then click the ‘send’ button?

I mean, honestly….
