New word: &#8216;newtworthy&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, thank you, I am brilliant.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an unnaturally slow day here at the office, so I figured I&#8217;d take this opportunity to say hi to anyone who came here via <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.blogtimore.com\">blogtimore.com<\/a>. I feel like I&#8217;ve joined a community, as if I&#8217;ve taken a step to become part of something larger, like I&#8217;ve been given&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;awww, forget it. I&#8217;m just vain and want people to read me.<\/p>\n<p>So anyway, if you&#8217;re curious, you can learn all about me by reading the following survey that I just totally made up and gave myself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Name:<\/strong> Mike<br \/>\n<strong>Age:<\/strong> 3 days shy of 29<br \/>\n<strong>Hometown:<\/strong> Hagerstown, Maryland<br \/>\n<strong>But now lives in:<\/strong> Baltimore, Maryland<br \/>\n<strong>Specifically<\/strong>: Woodberry<br \/>\n<strong>For a living I:<\/strong> Get my soul crushed in a very cube-intensive environment<br \/>\n<strong>I&#8217;d really like to:<\/strong> Have parts of my day that don&#8217;t involve a desk and a computer, get out of the office from time to time, and maybe find a way to wrap that around one of my geekitudes (read: history)<br \/>\n<strong>That would probably involve:<\/strong> going back to school for something I probably should have studied the first time<br \/>\n<strong>But that would mean:<\/strong> I would have had to go to a different school<br \/>\n<strong>And thus:<\/strong> I never would have met the guy that introduced me to my future wife<br \/>\n<strong>And that makes me:<\/strong> Sad<br \/>\n<strong>On a happier note, I have:<\/strong> A Diet Coke next to me.<br \/>\n<strong>And Diet Coke:<\/strong> Rules<br \/>\n<strong>Tonight I&#8217;ll:<\/strong> Go home, meet up with the Girl, and either go to the gym (if rainy) or take a long walk (if sunny)<br \/>\n<strong>Then:<\/strong> Dinner (something about chicken and a parmesan cheese crust) and a little <em>Lost<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>This weekend I&#8217;ll:<\/strong> Drink some beers, go watch <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.baltimoresun.com\/sports\/bal-sp.preston03may03,0,312728.column?coll=bal-home-columnists\">some lacrosse<\/a>, and then eat some birthday cake and surf-n-turf.<br \/>\n<strong>Favorite B&#8217;more Restaurant &#8211; Fancy Shmancy: <\/strong>Fleming&#8217;s<br \/>\n<strong>Favorite B&#8217;more Restaurant &#8211; For the Average Joe:<\/strong> There&#8217;s no right answer here. Maybe Nacho Mama&#8217;s for the combo of good food and great memories. Also &#8211; Wharf Rat (Fell&#8217;s) for the best chicken fingers and fish-n-chips in town, Brewer&#8217;s Art for the best fries, Dizzie Issie&#8217;s for the best bar food, Holy Frijoles for the best chimichanga, and Fazzini&#8217;s (up in Cockysville) for some of the best pasta that&#8217;s quick and cheap. Ok wait, I totally forgot about El Salto (uno or dos, doesn&#8217;t matter) for the best all around Mexican. God I&#8217;m hungry.<br \/>\n<strong>I&#8217;m so out of the Scene I:<\/strong> Don&#8217;t even have a favorite bar anymore<br \/>\n<strong>And I&#8217;m:<\/strong> A-ok with that<br \/>\n<strong>Chimpanzees: <\/strong>Always funny<\/p>\n<p>So yeah, that&#8217;s a little slice of me. You&#8217;re welcome. I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ve glossed over some important things.
